As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, manage data architecture for trusted repositories, and ensure robust data governance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.
  • Develop robust data architectures ensuring governance, traceability, and accessibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data products and data dictionaries.
  • Work with both real-time and batch data processing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers to meet data and business needs.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to uphold high software quality standards.
  • Apply modern data engineering principles for continuous improvement and system scalability.

Requirements:

  • Solid programming skills in at least one core language (SQL, Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Proven experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Hive, or Hadoop.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred).
  • Knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and pipeline management techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as QlikSense or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and implementing framework standards.
  • Exposure to full-stack technologies like Angular is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments.
